BUTTING has been family-run since its foundation in 1777. Therefore, it is our mission to pass on a healthy company to our next generation. We act proactively

Our focus is on improving energy and resource efficiency by also establishing closed loops for materials, waste and water. By means of continuous improvement processes (CIP), we strive to conserve material, energy and labour resources.

Environmental protection

Environmental protection is a high priority at BUTTING. Our Environmental Management System (EMS) is certified in accordance with ISO 14001. Among other things, it ensures compliance with the requirements of the 12th Ordinance of the Federal Immission Control Act (BlmSchV). These legal requirements and official regulations are minimum standards for us, which we exceed time and time again.

Energy management

With the introduction of an energy management system in 2012, BUTTING took an important step towards comprehensively monitoring energy consumption, identifying potential savings and increasing efficiency. Since 2015, we have been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 for our successful systematic energy management.
