The Wolfsburg-Wittingen church district was also present at the 38th German Protestant Church Congress in Hanover. An e-bike was raffled off in favour of the Wolfsburg telephone counselling service. The raffle was also made possible by BUTTING in Knesebeck.
The Wolfsburg-Wittingen church district was part of the host regional church at the 38th German Protestant Church Congress, which took place in Hanover from 30 April to 4 May. A special place - because the first church congress after the Second World War also took place in Hanover.
The church district looks back on the numerous visitors with great satisfaction. "We were represented with eight stands," reports Frauke Josuweit, Public Relations Officer. "It was a great opportunity to make our services visible."
One particular highlight was the raffle for a high-quality e-bike in aid of the Wolfsburg telephone counselling service. This campaign was also made possible by the commitment of BUTTING.
"For us, supporting charitable projects in the region is a matter close to our hearts," says Sonja Gades from BUTTING.
Elisabeth Schulze, Chairwoman of the Knesebeck church council, is particularly pleased that the raffle brought the important work of the telephone counselling service into focus: "The telephone counselling service is an offer from our church that is available around the clock. Most of this work is carried out by dedicated volunteers."
The e-bike travelled directly from Hanover to the lucky winner.
