At this year's award ceremony of the Lüneburg-Wolfsburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHKLW) on 19 September 2025 at the Lüneburg Theatre, a total of 73 out of more than 4,200 graduates in the chamber's district were honoured for their outstanding examination results.
Among them, three trainees from BUTTING were able to shine with outstanding achievements.
- Markus Gerlof - 1st place as a technical product designer
- Felix Büst - 3rd place as a machine and plant operator
- Patrick Kühne - 3rd place as a cutting machine operator
"We are very proud of our young talents, who have impressed us with their commitment and expertise," emphasises the BUTTING training team. "Their achievements show how valuable practical and high-quality training is for our future."
Markus Gerlof was particularly successful, as his outstanding final grade also qualified him for the state competition at the end of November, where the best trainees in Lower Saxony will be honoured.
In total, all of the honoured IHKLW graduates achieved at least 92 out of 100 points in their final examinations. This is impressive proof of their professional skills and motivation.
For decades, BUTTING has attached great importance to promoting young talent. Claudia Rohde, Head of Training at BUTTING in Knesebeck, is convinced: "Training is a central component of our corporate philosophy: practical, future-orientated and with a wide range of development opportunities. With commitment, enthusiasm and team spirit, our trainers make an important contribution to securing skilled labour in the region. They help young people to build a solid professional foundation for their lives."
