BUTTING procurement
BUTTING Einkaufsgesellschaft mbH is our central purchasing department for certain product groups within the BUTTING Group. This means that all purchasing decisions for investments and indirect product groups, such as auxiliary and operating materials, come together in BUTTING Purchasing. The aim is to efficiently bundle the different requirements of the individual partner companies via this interface. This is the only way to achieve globally oriented purchasing in the age of digitalisation. The purchasing of primary materials, such as coiled strips and plates, is handled directly by the procurement teams at our locations.

BUTTING Akademie
In 2004, Hermann Butting founded the BUTTING Akademie in Knesebeck with the aim of promoting the value-oriented development of people and organisations in the region. The BURG Knesebeck conference centre, which opened in 2009, makes an important contribution to this with its inspiring ambience.
The range of services offered by the BUTTING Akademie includes customised training, seminars and consulting services, further education courses for private individuals, daycare centres and schools as well as BURG Knesebeck as a special conference venue. The range of possible topics is as varied as the profiles of the customers: from experimental workshops for nursery school, teachers to strategy development for an engineering company from the automotive industry; from counselling and support for students (sponsored by BUTTING) to the qualification of specialists and managers from various sectors.
Since 2007, the BUTTING Akademie has been organising regular BUTTING practice days specifically for employees from the stainless steel industry, where tried-and-tested know-how relating to quality tubes is imparted.
