PrePipe in Finland

Since January 2025, the renowned assembly company PrePipe Oy with around 50 dedicated employees has been part of the BUTTING Group. PrePipe has been operating in Lappeenranta, Finland, since 2006 and specialises in pipeline assembly, maintenance and project work. The company supplies the Finnish paper and pulp industry as well as other plant engineering sectors.

In the dynamic region of south-east Finland, which is known for its world-class paper and pulp production companies, PrePipe has built up an excellent reputation over the past decades. Today, the company is one of the leading specialists in the installation of pipelines.

Our local presence enables us to support our customers in the region with customised solutions and to participate in major projects at an early stage. Thanks to the co-operation with BUTTING China and BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt, high-quality and cost-effective prefabrication is available. With PrePipe Oy, the BUTTING Group is further expanding its expertise in the field of pipeline assembly and strengthening its capabilities, particularly for companies in the paper and pulp industry in Scandinavia.
