Our family business was founded in 1777 during the reign of Frederick the Great. From my ancestors - and of course from my father in particular - I have heeded the advice to serve the managers and employees of our company - and not the other way round!

The word home sounds romantic to my ears. Do globalised, modern people still need a home?
Home has a lot to do with where I feel at home. This in turn is very important in my life and in my everyday life as an entrepreneur.

Under the title "Pipeline to life: An Entrepreneur Discovers the Sermon on the Mount", Managing Partner Hermann Butting has written his first personal book, which was published on 1 January 2020 by Fontis Verlag.

The "Entrepreneur Award of Region 38" competition recognises entrepreneurial success, innovative ideas, exemplary company management, sustainable business practices and a commitment to the region in postcode area 38.

What characterises these people who feel worthy? Among other things, their willingness to make themselves vulnerable. These people have "fully embraced" vulnerability, accepted and embraced it. They believe that what makes them vulnerable makes them beautiful and unique.

"What about the self-confidence of us Germans or citizens of other countries in the western world, which many people are seeking refuge in these days? Do we have clarity about our identity? Do we have self-awareness about the values and culture that we want to live in our country?"

That's the beauty of a village and a rural district like Gifhorn: people know and see each other, they look out for each other! In a village there is still something like a village community, strengthened by various associations, the church in the village and joint activities or events. At least in Knesebeck.
