Magnetic-inductive measurement

Magnetic-inductive measurement is used to measure the flow of electrically conductive liquids. A magnetic field generates a voltage that is proportional to the flow velocity. This allows the volume flow to be determined precisely. Typical measuring tasks include recording and monitoring continuous flow rates, filling and dosing as well as calibration applications. BUTTING supplies precisely manufactured tubular housings for flow meters.

Coriolis measurement

Coriolis measurement enables the direct determination of the mass flow rate as well as the density and temperature of a medium. The Coriolis effect creates a phase shift in vibrating measuring tubes that can be precisely analysed. This technology is characterised by maximum accuracy. BUTTING supplies support tubes and bends with diameters from 30 to 160 mm for this measurement technology, which are manufactured using the mandrel bending process.

Level measurement

Level measurement is used to monitor the medium in tanks and containers. Depending on the application, different methods such as radar, ultrasonic or pressure measurement are used. They enable continuous, reliable and precise detection of the fill level. BUTTING manufactures welded housings for the measuring instruments used in level measurement.
